We’ve made this recipe at least once a month since the first time I made it and it never fails to be delicious. Our family loves this one!
Creamy Slow Cooker Tortellini Soup
Servings: 6
Ingredients
- 28oz can Petite diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 lb Italian Sausage Links or Ground Sausage
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 package tortellini (18-20oz)
Instructions
- Cut the Italian sausage into coins or if you are using ground sausage, cook it over medium heat until cooked through.
- Add the tomatoes, spices and sausage to the crock pot. Stir and cook on low for 3-4 hours or 2 hours on high.
- Stir in the cream cheese and let it melt (5 min or so)
- Add in the tortellini (we add ours from frozen) and let them cook about 25 minutes.
- Serve and top with parsley for color.
