Ingredients
Chicken Bag
- 1 lb chicken thighs with fat trimmed
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
Sauce Bag
- ½ cup bone broth
- 1 tbsp coconut aminos or soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp arrowroot powder, tapioca flour or cornstarch
Instructions
Freezer bags
- Write instructions on bags and label.
- Combine thighs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, paprika and italian seasoning in a freezer bag.
- Combine sauce ingredients into a separate bag.
- Place about 2 tbsps of the sauce, into the bag with the chicken thighs.
- Freeze
Cooking
- Thaw bags. Put the thighs and seasonings into the crock pot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high 3-4 hours.
- Dump the liquid from the crock pot that has accumulated into rice or potatoes or pasta that you are cooking.
- Put the sauce into the crock pot with the thighs and cook for 30 more minutes.
- Garnish with green onion or thyme.
