These little cookies are some of the easiest ones you can make. Plus, we almost always have all of these ingredients on hand. I do think that these are delicious served with a cup of coffee!
Also note – If you have seen these before, you’ve probably not seen them with powdered sugar mixed in. I do think it adds the perfect amount of sweetness that everyone can enjoy, without being overbearing. But overall, these are only a mildly sweet cookie.
Snowball Cookies
This recipe is for the full version, but I usually cut it in half when I make them
Servings: 26 cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup softened butter
- ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 2¼ cups flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- more powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 320℉
- Add the softened butter to a mixing bowl and beat for a few minutes until it's light and fluffy.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk and beat again until it's fully incorporated scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
- Add in the powdered sugar, flour and baking powder and beat to combine.
- Using a cookie scoop, scoop the dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet. No need to shape them, just release them from the scoop.
- Bake at 320° for 12 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool on a cooling rack and then dust with powdered sugar.
