This Garlic Butter Steak with Wild Rice & Broccoli is an easy, restaurant-quality dinner that’s surprisingly simple to make at home. Seared Beef Strips with Wild Rice Pilaf and Garlic Broccoli

Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs beef strip
- 1 ½ cups wild rice
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 cups beef stock or bone broth
- 2 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp butter
- ½ tbsp onion powder
Instructions
- Rinse rice under cold water. In a saucepan, combine rice, beef stock, ½ tsp salt, and ½ tsp onion powder. Bring to a boil and then reduce until liquid is absorbed.
- Cut broccoli into florets and toss with 1 tbsp of oil, 2 cloves of minced garlic and ½ tsp salt. Steam in a steam basket or in the microwave.
- Combine 2 tsp of paprika, 1 tsp of salt and ½ tsp of pepper into a bowl for the steak seasoning.
- Dry off steaks and cut into 1 inch slices then season with a touch of oil and seasoning.
- Add 1 tbsp of butter into a pan and melt on high. Sear all sides of the steaks on high heat in a pan. Cook to desired temperature.
- Plate and serve!
