These are essentially a treat and a breath mint in one and they are addicting!! There is a reason this recipe has been around for a long time.
Cream Cheese Mints
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- ½ tsp peppermint extract
- 2½ cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Cream together the butter, cream cheese and peppermint extract.
- Add the powdered sugar about 1/2 cup at a time and full incorporate.
- Optional: Food Coloring can be added to create different colors.
- Use a piping bag or a cookie press to make the shapes you would like. (feel free to just use a sandwich bag with the tip cut off)
- Let them harden up for about 24 hours before eating.
