Crock Pot Mac and Cheese

This is so incredibly easy to make. It’s not too cheesy, not to dry, we found it to be the perfect consistency. We also found that it reheats really well.

Crock Pot Mac and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pasta
  • 4 tbsps Butter pats
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup other kind of cheese (pepperjack, parmesan, gruyere, etc)

Instructions

  • Add the pasta, butter, cream cheese, salt, pepper, milk and heavy cream to the crock pot. Cook for about 2 hours on low until the pasta is chewy. 4 tbsps Butter pats
  • After 2 hours, stir it all together and add the cheese a little bit at a time, incorporating into the pasta.
  • Cook for an additional 30 minutes with the lid slightly offset to let some liquid evaporate.
