This recipe is so easy, even a beginner cook can handle it! It’s packed with flavor and it all goes into the crock pot.
Garlic Chicken in the Slow Cooker
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp ginger paste or fresh ginger
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 2 tbsp sweet thai chili sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sriracha
- 1 tsp parsley for garnish optional
- 1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish optional
Instructions
- Put your chicken into the crock pot.
- Mix up the sauce ingredients and pour over the chicken. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-5 hours.
- Shred the chicken.Note: You can thicken up the sauce with a cornstarch mixture if you would like. We typically don't but have before.
- We like to serve ours over rice and top with a little bit of parsley.
