These air fryer fajitas are perfect in the summer. We love fajitas, but we don’t love heating up the kitchen when it’s hot outside. Honestly, I say these are good in summer, but they are perfect year round.
Air Fryer Fajitas
Servings: 6 people
Ingredients
- 1 Green bell pepper
- 1 Yellow or orange bell pepper
- 1 Red bell pepper
- 1 Purple onion optional
- 1 lb chicken breasts
- 2 tsp chili seasoning
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp cumin add more if you like
- 2 tsp oil we use avocado oil
Instructions
- Cut peppers into strips. Add to a bowl.
- Butterfly the chicken all the way through and cut into strips. About 1/2 inch thick. Add the chicken to the bowl with the peppers.
- Add in all of your spices and toss everything together, coating the peppers and chicken.
- Add to air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Air fry at 350° for about 18 minutes. Toss at the 9 minute mark.
- Serve with tortillas or over rice and your favorite toppings (sour cream, cheese, guacamole, salsa, etc).
