Dump the white beans, broth and rice into the crock pot. Add the salt and if you want, the onion powder and garlic powder.
Cook on high for 2 hours.
Chop the frozen green beans into bite sized pieces if they aren't already cut and add to the crock pot.
Add in the pesto.
Cook for another hour or until the rice is done.
Notes
Depending on the kind of rice you use, this may take more or less time. I do not suggest regular white rice, as it gets too mushy too quickly. A wild grain holds up a lot better.
