Homemade Brownies

These brownies have the perfect amount of crunch on the outside and soft chewy texture on the inside.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups sugar sifted
  • ¾ cup flour sifted
  • cup cocoa powder sifted
  • ½ cup powdered sugar sifted
  • ¾ tsp salt sifted
  • 2 eggs whisked
  • 2 tbsp milk use water if desired
  • ½ cup coconut oil melted
  • ½ tsp almond or vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325℉
  • Liberally spray an 8 inch baking dish, put parchment paper in the dish and spray that as well.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together the dry ingredients (1 ½ cups of sugar, ¾ cup flour, ⅔ cup cocoa powder, ½ cup powdered sugar, and ¾ tsp salt). I like to sift all of my ingredients to make sure there are no clumps.
  • In another bowl, mix together wet ingredients (2 eggs, 2 tbsp milk , ½ cup coconut oil and½ tsp almond or vanilla extract).
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients but don't overmix.
  • Add in chocolate chips.
  • Pour mixture into your baking dish.
  • Bake for 40-45 min.
  • Let the brownies cool before you take them out of the baking dish and cut them.
