Dry Cake Mix Ingredients
Ingredients
Dry Ingredients (we make this and keep in the pantry)
- 2 ¼ cups flour we use unbleached, all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
Wet ingredients (add before you bake)
- 1 cup milk buttermilk is optional
- 1 cup melted coconut oil you can use other oils if you want
- 4 eggs room temp (especially if using coconut oil)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
To make the dry ingredients
- Combine all of the dry ingredients in a bowl and store in an air tight container.
To make the cake
- Preheat oven to 350
- Take your dry ingredients and beat in all of the wet ingredients.
- For cakes, pour into greased cake pans or a greased 9x13 pan. For cupcakes, pour into your greased muffin tins or cupcake liners.
- Cakes will bake for 20-25 min and cupcakes will bake for 15-20 min
